Front End
So my truck is stock aside from some interior leds and cheap fog lights. But I wanna redo a couple things. Tint windows. Black out the front end and rear end. I also want to get some black rims, but that'll be the last thing I do because I'm poor. Just to name a few. But here it is. Any input would be appreciated.

I have to say if you like it then go with it. It is your truck, it is an extension of you, shows who you are. I personally wouldn't do that to my truck, since its done already ahah my truck is black. If you like it man go with it!!! don't worry be happy

You can tint your lights with some VHT tint spray. Tint the windows would be good as well. Ever think of painting your rims that you have? just a few things that wont cost a lot.

Bones has a point the VHT works really good for tinting lights and a can only costs $15 on average.

Its really easy to do too. First you scuff the surface to take the shine off and then you clean it all. After that go ahead and spray the lights with light coats so it dosn't run. First coat let dry till its tacky then repeat until you have reached the desired darkness. After you last coat wait until its sticky and spray clearcoat on it. Do about 3 coats of clearcoat and your done! You can also wet sand it to get rid of any imperfections that may have came

Okay. So last weekend I painted all my crap gray on my grill and bumpers. It's now a matte black. I'm pretty happy with the turn out. Looks a little tougher. I also painted my rims. I'm not sure if it'll last, but if it doesn't no big deal. So I probably spent around $30 give or take on all my supplies, and it looks pretty good considering its spray paint, IMO. The rims still have chrome accents. I'll post pics when I get a chance, probably tomorrow. I've also decided on some new lights. I just have to wait until some summer funding comes along.

I'm thinking these for taillights. I know it's not blacked out, but it's better then the factory.

I'm thinking these for headlights.

These for fog lights.

I also plan to do a CAI, Window Tint, Spray in Bedliner, and hopefully a toolbox this summer. Possibly a black bull bar with some driving lights mounted on it ( pesky deer are everywhere). Any input would be awesome. And as I said I'll try and post pics of my truck tomorrow. Hopefully I can get it washed up nice.

you might be better off going with a full brush guard if you're worried about the deer. The bull bar that I had on my '08 was little more than a light bar, it looked pretty tough but would've folded up if I hit anything substantial with it.

As for how things look, you should go with what works for you. It's your truck, don't let anyone try to convince you that what you like doesn't look good. Your own opinion is really the only one that counts........... that being said I think it'll look pretty good.

just my opinion

Thats right, as long as you like it do it, your truck is an extension of who you are!

I really like those taillights. Wish I could find them for my 08 ram.
