2gen Ram Emblem

Hey guys,

Might be quick and might be easy and this might be a dumb question but does anyone know if the Ram emblem on our grills pops out or can be removed ??

Thanks... I will search around now :158:

I believe it does. Check on the underside of the grille were the emblem is.

Pretty sure they are just glued in. When I got my chrome grill there were no holes in for a screw. I used automotive adhesive to glue my new one in.

Hey guys thanks. I will check today once out of the office. I guess I just never thought of it until I saw curt4816's rattle can post and thought of painting my chrome grill.

If it is actually glued in from the factory im guessing there is a chance of it seperated when your try to remove it.... a little heat might help i guess though eh ??

If it appears to be glued in Canuckboy i would pour the heat to it and then pry it out. Your grill is plastic.................Correct.:thk:

Yes it is plastic, just wasnt sure if it popped out or if it had to be heated out....So if need be when the time comes I will use the heat gun on low and see how it goes.

Dont blame you there. Can you take the whole grill off pretty easy? You know....bring it inside. We know what plastics like when its cold.:doh:Good luck. Keep us posted.

Hey,

Ya I believe these grills are held on with those awesome plastic clips :i_rolleyes: that love to snap when you try to pull them out.

I will see what the weather is like this weekend. Pretty nice out today so I might take a look at it better.

If I do any sanding and painting I will forsure post it up. Thanks for verifying it is glued in bones
