Tire Clearance

I have a 2010 Sport on order and just waiting for it to arrive. Because of my location and work, I did not like the fact that the Sport's only come with 20" rims. I would have had to pay extra to get 17" rims. I intend on putting 17" aftermarket rims on and I was wondering if anyone knows if a 33x12.5 will fit on these trucks without a lift?

well factory tires are 285's if i remember right, which is almost a 33" tires, I do beleive someone on here is running 305's without a lift which is around a 34" tire. I would say your safe but a leveling kit up front wound't hurt especially if you are going for the offroad look, or actually plan to use it offroad a bit. the 2" spacer or whatever it may take to level it, may save your fenders at full stuff from the suspension

Stockers are 275s 60 20 A 12.5 is too wide with a stock rim it will rub,you should watch the backspacing of your after market rim.The 275 work out to about 33 I have 285 and they are a 34.

I have a 2010 ST 4x4, came kinda squatty in the front so I put a 2" leveling kit on it. I'm running a Goodyear Fierce Attitude M/T tires that I bought before I put the kit on, they're 265/70/17 but since they're a deep lug tire they're probably close to 32". Anyways, they now look tiny on my Ram and I wish I would have gone bigger. I would be glad to sell them if anyone wants them, only 1,000 miles on them!!
