Smooth as Glass!

Hey guys!!

I was bored today so I went out to Canadian Tire, yes CANADIAN haha. I picked up a clay bar kit. WOW! It works so well!! i have to say this was a great buy to clean the truck. The truck looks like a great big mirror now haa. It took me about 2.5hrs to do the whole truck, not that bad. Its really easy to clean with also.

Heres the steps I took
1. Wash the Truck (DUH!)
2. Pull out the clay bar and the lubrication (all in the kit)
3. Spray the area that you want to work with with the lubrication. The area whould be not too big and not too small. I worked in like 2ftx2ft areas on average maybe bigger at times
4. Use the clay bar, lightly run it across the wet area
5. Once its smooth and the lubrication is starting to disappear you can stop running the clay.
6. Use the microfiber towel (icluded in the kit) and dry it off.

The key is to also always kneed the clay to keep it working at peek performance. when it starts to get dirty you can fold it over and keep using it.

I would recomend getting a large microfiber towel as well with the kit. The one in the kit is pretty small, and our trucks are pretty big haha. So get a larger towel as well so you will be able to keep drying the truck.

Its so wicked haha. The paint feels so smooth its like glass! It is really good product and i would recommend it to everyone on here.

heres some pics of what the truck looks like

This is after I used it. So the one clay bar is deformed. You have to keep working the clay bar in so it works great every area you do.

I love nothing more then a clean truck! Especialy with the clay bar. Also they say the clay bar is like ading a coat of clearcoat. So I think i'm gunna do it every month. I was expecting to take like 5hrs Happy it only took half the time

lookin' great!!
i wouldn't even think about doing my truck, i'm so short 5' 8" that its all i can reach is the top of my doors & barely reach the bump in the hood.
besides that, the paint on my truck has so much orange peel on the paints surface, i'll just wait & get a proper paint job done on it, it looks like a Earl Scheib $49 special right now

Looks great Skat, I'm a fan of the Mother's clay kit and products myself, and you did a great job. Had some good enough weather to get it all done?
