Finally made it to the track!

i finally made it to the track last friday night since installing 4.10's and Predator! Only problem is that my tuner malfunctioned!
I brought my truck in for warranty work (exhaust leak at right side manifold-they replace broken stud and gasket) so I returned the program to stock. Well it seems they re-flashed the PCM while it was there so when I re-installed the 93 octane tune when I got to the track, it wouldn't shift out of 1st gear.....
So my times only reflect the change from 3.55's to 4.10's.
I made three passes at 14.204 @ 96.52, 14.200 @ 95.76, and 14.218 @ 96.33

60ft times were 2.140, 2.144, and 2.143

Pretty freakin consistant! I wish my reaction times were that consistant...
They were .104, .095, and .101......Doo Doo!

My best time with the 3.55's (without Predator) was 14.669 @ 96.57 with a 2.267 60ft times.

Can't wait to go back with programmer re-installed. I had to update it via internet and re-installed it and it worked fine. So I'll try and make it back soon to see what it'll do.

I'll post results as soon as I can.

Hoping for high 13's.

what did you do with your old 3.55? and i ran a 14.76 with the 3.21 gears and a drop in filter nothing else.. interested to see what a predator would do for me.

The 3.55's are still attached to the origional open (non-limited slip) carrier and is stored in my shop. I may sell them on eBay or something. But knowing that to buy them from Dodge would cost around $750-$1000 depending on what kinda deal you can talk the parts guy into, I just may hold on to them.

By the way, 14.76 with 3.21's is very impressive! What was your mph? 60ft times?

NICE! My old '01 Cobra ran 14.1s @ 101 on a 2.3 60' stock. Impressive as hell!

SMARTEL, that is FREAKIN straight up rollin..................congrats,
09 HEMI, did you run at a track?, that is some impressive numbers.:Wow1:
Question, what limited slip do you have, I am going to do this myself, just cant bite the bullet for the Auburn yet, already have the 3:92's, I have a new tru-trac but know the problems with that one, was thinking about leaving the clips out,.

MotorCityRam 02-23-2010 08:46 AM

Has anyone repacked a stock Trac Loc to tighten it up like the Mustang guys do by reordering the clutch plates using an extra old one when using a refresh kit?

BULLRAM 02-23-2010 09:36 AM

I have heard of that also, I have seen that done in an automatic transmission, for more holding power
