Projector lights & HIDs

Hey guys, '99 Ram 1500 here.

I wondered if anyone with a similar year had installed the projector headlight upgrade and had daytime pics so I could see what they look like?
I kind of like the stock lights on my ram, so may just replace the slightly clouded headlights with brand new shiny ones....not sure yet.

And HID conversion for this era truck? What are they like? Good investment? Worth it?
I've heard of issues with flickering and outages so wondered if anyone has done an HID on a late 90s and what it's like?

Not sure am seriously considering doing this, but interested in opinions.

When I read post I go to the new post tab on the top of the page, then I can see them all. So just 1 post is good, and if it doesnt get any response a mod can move it.

Well I think HIDs will work better in your truck than the new trucks. With all the new technology in the new trucks it causes them to flicker, also causes the turn signals to flash rapidly. I think HIDs will be ok in your truck, if you like the look of your headlights then why not?

The projector headlights do look cool though. Take a look :

To be honest i think I would go with these rather than HIDS. These are about $100 and a good HID kit can go up to $250. HIDs are not good to cheap out on so your going to spend at least $150. i think the new headlight will be your best bet.
