Flowmaster Catback system?
First off I own a 2008Ram Quad cab with 5.7, ..Ive always been a big fan of F/M exhaust's, ..My question is, .. Which muffler (model etc) from Flowmaster best compliments the Ram with 5.7 , ...Sound wise i dont want a real aggressive Idle sound and @ Highway speeds, But want you to know im Coming thru when i do step on it,...Thx in advance for all your opinions.

Maybe the Super 44 Series :4-dontknow:

Check sound clips on YouTube

I think they make a 50 series catback (or mufflers) and those may be a bit quieter than the 40 series.

Good luck with your exhaust mods!

I just put a flowmaster 50 series on my truck (just the muffler) and it has a nice rumble to it but I am debating whether or not I should eliminate the resonator before the tip. I read that the 50 series is recommended for the hemi..

you maybe a fan of flows (and I thought i was too) but the sound and noise with the cab was too loud (and to me doesn't sound right on a hemi)...I would humbly suggest to consider magnaflows (cut the cab noise in half) and still gives it a nice muscular tone under throttle and doesn't flush out at wot like flows do..

50 is good for what you want.

Honestly i put a cherry bomb vortex. Has amazing flow low cabin noise but when i stomp on it you can hear me from blocks away. I was also told cherrybomb and fm were essentially the same. just throwin that out there if thats not enough for ya i would say the 50 cause the 40 series is loud.

Thx to all u guys, for the input, thinking of checking into magnaflow as well, ..but not sure how there flow ratio, compares to f/m's or other manufactures for that matter?, ...i like the fact that it sounds better but dont want to sacrifice performance...overall..

they will definitely flow more (then flows) because they are straight through mufflers, not chambered like the flows..
