The Spark Plug Difference

Hey Guys!

I just wanted to share my little change today. I noticed in the manual that you are supposed to change the spark plugs after 50,000kms. I am near 60,000kms now so it was time to change them.

I picked up some Champion Copper plugs, nothing special thats the only ones I could get for the Ram. Anyways to my point, what a difference the spark plugs made. I got a lot more throttle response and it drove a lot better.

I think spark plugs are a great mod to do to make it a little peppier.

I have a question as well! When looking at spark plugs, are they vehicle specific? When i went to my shop they said these were the only ones available for my truck. I wanted a set of NGK Laser Irridium plugs

they make iridiums for us...I use ngk 4306's, most use 5306's..

Really eh? I will have to tell me shop that. I am actually pissed off now, I wanted those too!

The Champion - RE14MCC4 is the plug that came installed in your truck. When they told you that's what was available, they probably meant that's all they had for it and not that it is the only plug you can use.
