Welcome Newbie. You had my attention. We had a discussion a few weeks back about stray cats and damage they do to our vehicles....I thought it had taken a turn for the worse for the cat!!!! I haven't done anything like you're looking to so I will keep out of it. I just wanted to say HELLO AND WELCOME! We love pics of our members trucks, so if you have em' post em!
Thanks and see you around the Z!

Why dont you post up in the newbie section and introduce your self!

I believe eliminating your cats you will have to mod the O2 sensors or else the truck will run all screwey. I know where I live I will not pass my emissions test and then not be allowed on the road. I do not know how your state laws are about emissions but I believe you might have problems as well.

Instead of eliminating them why not get some high flow cats. They will eliminate any problems and still give you more flow

Welcome to the site! As far as removing your cats... Is that something you just want to do or do you not think you can have true duals with them there? I have true duals on my truck with the cats there and it sounds good, to me anyway. Nice and mellow but really lets ppl know your there when you get on it. Removing the cats would most lickly throw your check engine light on, im not for sure but thats what my exhaust guy told me.

I am not for GA, just live here! (no disrespect to other GA residents)
We are military stationed here.
These people are obsessive about the damn dog!
It's crazy.

hey scat any ideas on those high flow cats? wheres a good place 2 look? thanks buddy

ScatPak07 04-21-2010 10:52 PM

I would suggest looking at Magnaflow. They make lots of universal high flow cats with diferent inlet outlet diameters.

Most exhaust companies make cats but Magnaflow does have a large variety

Theres that truck again hahaha
