throttle body spacer
 
hey everyone, i have a jet throttle body spacer that my friend gave me, and when i went to put it on my truck and the right one but when i put my cai back on it hits the metal where the whiper arm is, is it possible to put both parts, the cai and the tb spacer on there?
- i have a 2000 dodge ram 1500

Can you shorten the CAI a bit?

and by shorten do you mean trim the cai where it meets the carb?

You may need to do some modifaction to the CAI to fit it all in there. Like Maddog said some pics would help us help you!

I would say just to leave the spacer off. It doesn't really do much for our engines with the kegger syle intake. If you have an aftermarket one like the M-1 then ya could use it.

I would leave the throttle body spacer off as well, they only make a difference to carburated intakes which need added intake length to mix the air/fuel before entering the cylinders. A TBS has little effect on the newer style intakes.
