What is the difference between the 3865 superchip and the 3715 superchip?

The 3715 was the "first generation" SuperChips programmer with three pre-programmed level of performance and additional features to enhance shift firmness, remove the speed limiter, adjust speedo for different tire sizes and adjusting the rev limiter.

Next came the 3815 which covered a more varied line of vehicles and contained pretty much the same features.

The 3865 was introduced for an even wider line of vehicles and contained updated tunes plus code reading capability and real time monitoring of engine and transmission operating parameters.

It appears the biggest difference between the two is that the 3865 can be updated via the internet and a USB connection on your computer.
