A/c does not want to blow hard just cold

The problem that I'm having my ac blows cold but no matter where I turn myselector low, med, high it all comes out the same super low and makes me sweat like a pig in june... plz help I checked the ac levels with my gauges and it all works great but inside it blows low and barely at all, but the air is cole...Also I know the blower seems to be working bc I can hear it kick on all the way from low to high changing its speeds..

plz help I live in texas and its HOT as Hockey sticks

Sounds like you have a broken mode door or recirc door.

thats the speed selector switch.its a resistor actually.cheap fix.strange how you said the blower itself changes speed by itself.anyway price a resistorand swap it out

A switch and resistor are two completely different things. When resistors go out, you'll only have high speed blower operation. Blend and mode door failures are common in Ram trucks.

so I'm guesing that to fix the door issue I'm going to need to rip the whole dang dash out right?

Don't have that info for ya . Sorry . If it's the blend air door that needs to be replaced you can check around and find it on the aftermarket I'm sure .

It's going to depend on which door(s) need repairing.

on the passenger side, unbolt the motor and remove. stick your hand up the housing and feel if the recirculation door is jacked up. if it is you'll have a fun 5-1/2 hours ahead of you :) on the plus side, the door kit is only 25 bucks
