Wheel lug question
I hope this is the right forum, I saw no others for 2nd gen rams wheels. I have a 94 2500HD with the 5.9 LDC. My wheels are all 8 lugs, everywhere I go to find new wheels don't have any for me since its 8 lugs and all they carry for that year is 5 lugs or so they tell me. Where can I get some nice aftermarket wheels for this beast?
Why not try tirerack.com they have lots of stuff! Just search for 8 lugs wheels, but you do need to find the bolt pattern. My truck has 5 lugs and they are a 5/5.5(137) bolt pattern (I think hahaha).
Do a search for all year trucks similar to yours and find that bolt pattern. It should be the same for most Ram 8 lugs
1994-1999 1500 2WD/4WD Aluminum Wheels
•Lug Pattern - 5 on 5.5", 1/2" bolt
•Rim Size - 16x7.0"
•Offset - +13.97mm
•Backspace - 5"
•Max Tire Size -
•15x8.0 rims with 3.5" backspace will fit, but they stick out of the wheel wells.
1994-2002 Dodge Ram 2500/3500's have 6.5 on 8 bolt patterns.
some fords, chevys, & jeeps look like they also use the 8 lug 6.5 pattern

Gah! I am about to pull my hair out. No one has the 8 lug chromed wheels for the 2500's. All I can find are the steel wheels and I only need one chrome to replace the steel wheel on it.
EDIT:Found one on ebay for 100+shipping. It is 16x6.5 8 lug chromed like I need. I don't know the wheel width on mine now, did most people opt for the 8 lug steel wheels on the 2500's or what?
i picked up a set of 06 factory takeoffs for mine. 17", polished aluminum, with center caps and michelin's - $900 delivered to the border, and each about 30# lighter than the steel wheels. There are several guys on ebay that have factory takeoffs available. be careful as all the 8-bolt wheels will fit the bolt pattern, but there is one (chev/dodge or ford) that will not fit the others. It is an issue with caliper size i think.
Careful with the GM rims....they won't fit over the hub if you have lockers in front, as a matter of fact they don't fit on the back hub either!! Had one as a spare only to find out it don't fit. Bolt pattern is the same, but not centers.
