2010 Ram Lowered, Passenger Wheel sticking out!

Hello I have been looking through all the forums, and have not seen this problem before.

I had my 2010 Ram R/T Lowered in our shop, using the Mcgaughy' s 2/4 Deluxe kit. the spindles seemed to push out both front tires past the body. this was fixed a little after the alignment.
But today I finally got my 22" wheels, and installed them. They are 285/45/22tires on the 9.5" wide rims with the factory back spacing, but now the drivers side front tire sticks out from the body by about 1/2", but and the passenger side sticks out 1 1/4", I thought they sent me one wrong wheel, but we measured and all the rims are the same.

so I am wondering if anybody has had this happen to them?

Do you have the spec sheet from the alignment after you lowered your truck?

^ What he said.

Hope you got it aligned already.

Yes the front spindles do push them out mine did the same thing wished I would have went with springs instead of spindles as far as the difference in right and left sounds like one has more camber than the other....

That's what I'm thinking but that much of a cross-camber difference should cause a pull to the right.

Did you measure hweel width or back spacing. Lay both front wheels face down on a blanket. Lay a 2"x4" over the wheel and measure from mounting pad to edge of the 2x4"...

I bet they arent the same.

Thanks for the responses.
So the Alignment was done right, and the tech had brought in both sides am much as he could. the actual distance sticking out on both sides, is 1" on the drivers side, and 1.5" on the passenger side.
I talked to our body, and trim guy, he said he has had to adjust the cab over on the frame for a few customers, i guess it only has to go over by 1/4". according to spec that's acceptable.
I have ordered 2 new front wheels, that have 3/4" more offset (+35) to bring the wheels in, this is most I could get, but at least it will be a little more flush to the body!
I will put up some pic ( as soon as I figure out how to)

Dev1, there are numerous posts on this issue (McG drop spindles) in the various forums. I will have to take a pic on mine this evening.... but the tires stick out on all 4 past the body stock OEM!!! I am not happy with what I am hearing about the drop spindles....hence they sit in the box on the garage floor. I might go GroundForce. Not much choice with turn key suspension systems. The aftermarket is LAME. Where is Eibach and the rest of the aftermarket??? Thank you for the photos and trying to sort these issues out. :wow:
