09 ram aux power outlets not working?
went to hook up my new radar detector to one of my aux outlets and it didnt work ,so i tried the next one same thing.Tried all 3 in truck and none work.I checked and repalced fuses all seems alright but still no power. What else can I check or what is causing this?

Try plugging in a phone charger or another accessory and make sure it isn't a problem with the radar detector.

on mine, the 115v is controlled by the ignition key & button above the climate control just to the right of the emergency flashers
the cigar lighter by the shifter is controlled by the ignition key

if you have the full console, the outlet in the top box is always energized i believe, i use that one for my cell phone charging, when i don't use it, i use the 115 v cell phone adapter

radar works in other vehicle so thats good, tried radar with vehicle running and not and still no juice. could somethign be unplugged somehwere ?

Something unplugged doesn't explain why all 3 seem to be inoperative. Did you try a different accessory in your truck yet?

yep tried a cellphone and no go either also my compass is just showing 2 blanks no direction i noticed.

I have yet to find anything that might be causing this since some of the outlets are bettery fed and others ignition fed and they don't seem to share any common connections. Your best bet is to take it in and let the dealer look at it.
