Will this thermostat work on a 2009 Ram HEMI? Is this the one everyone is using? Thanks.

Yes sir , I believe so . I got one from NAPA for my 6.1 in my 300 . I believe the number part # was 191 . I would have to double check though . I will verify it for ya shortly .

Just did a google on NAPA 191 . It came back as the thermostat that the hemi guys are installing . Definitely cheaper .

From the book...

We have noted an increase in returned thermostats for rationality fault codes (examples: P0116, P0128, P1281, or P2181) that are aftermarket (non OEM) performance thermostats rated at lower temperatures than recommended by Chrysler Engineering, especially on the 6.1L SRT Hemi. When diagnosing any 5.7L or 6.1L Hemi vehicle for the aforementioned faults, be sure to determine if the thermostat is OE before determining warranty coverage - problems arising from aftermarket performance thermostats are not warrantable..

That is a heck of a post. What are you recommending or suggesting?

I think he's saying that if you throw a MIL and a code comes up for a stat problem, warranty won't cover it. You'll either have to live with it or replace it with a factory stat.

Yes I was just saying it might throw a fault code...
