Questions regarding cat deleting

Hello! I was wondering if anyone knew anything about taking cats out. I have a '04 Ram with a 4.7l and I put headers and magnaflow mufflers on it and took the cats out. I also put a rear o2 simulator in. It is part of an experiment I am doing with mpgs. It seems to run fine, but the check engine light is on with the codes p0171 and p0174 and it seems to be running rich. Does anyone have any suggestions or help?

Not a clue, but I'm very curious as to what You find out! Have you noticed a power increase?

It does seem to have quite a bit more horsepower throughout all the rpms. Almost too much. It smokes a lot when you really get on it. But it can really tear the tires loose now! I think the computer thinks it is lean when it is actually really rich. It sounds like it is cammed.

That's the codes I would expect to see. You need to fool them as well. You can try welding in anti-foulers and installing the sensors in them.

What exactly are anti- foulers? They wouldn't also be known as a stand-off would they?

Spark plug anti-foulers is the technical name and they may very well be called stand offs.
