High Flow cats

Nope, that's not true, at least not what I'd consider "high flow" cats. They may flow a bit more than the ones you'd find on a Prius but nothing special was done.

The big problem here seems to be that there isn't one universally accepted definition for "high flow". Sure, the stock cats on the Hemi will outflow whats on the PT Cruiser but does that make it a high flow converter? Unfortunately, Chrysler hasn't included flow rating for exhaust components in the service info. 07-07-2010 01:22 PM

does cutting the cats off make much of a difference. i heard the check engine light will come on.

moparmike07 07-08-2010 10:13 AM

yes cutting the cats you get a cel (check engline light) i recommend you dont do that it will smell like crap. also i got headers high flow cats magnaflow dual exhaust and the Drone SUCKS F*** Mds i need a diablo asap

you CAN delete the cats, you just have to make sure that you get O2 simulators for your sensors, that will take care of the CEL, and since you have an '03 you don't have to woryy about MDS. A set of magnaflow performance cats will bolt right into place, so I'd say go for it, just need to find a shop that will do it as it IS illegal to run w/out cats in EVERY state/province.
