Too good to be true?

Does this come with everything? Like is it actually a CAI? I mean is this what all others come with?

Just my humble opinion. While this appears to be a CAI, it is actually sucking air from within the hot engine compartment.

if you like it,... personally i wouldn't run it - if you are looking for a cold air kit, look for one that replaces the restrictive resonator box on the throttle body.

mine is the airraida tube that replaces the resonator and accordion tube paired with a opened up stock airbox bottom. works just as good as the full kit my dad has on his identical truck...

I'd stay away from it if I were you.

Don't buy one of those. I did and was extremly disappointed with the quality!!!!

cgulaszewski 07-02-2010 02:27 AM

I wouldn't buy it, it's made very cheap and is very disappointing when installed.

RamTech 07-02-2010 08:36 AM

Agreed. It's cheap looking and doesn't block hot air.

SpeedlogiX-Mikey 07-02-2010 12:36 PM

Yeah that definitely doesn't look like it's worth buying almost any cold air that is under $100 usually isn't worth it at all. Let me know if I can help you get one though!
Thanks,
Sam

Don't Do It!!!

They suck in hot air and the tube heats up a lot. It is great when you first start up your engine but that only last until the fresh air or cold air is gone. Pass on it. I say you are better off to just drop a K&N filter into your air box and be closer to a CAI.
