Adding electric trailer brakes

I cannot find the coupling under the dash for the brake connector. I was told it would be a blue connector. I have a controller to install but cannot locate the coupling or where it goes at the rear by the towbar. The fuse box under the hood has a set of fuses saying electric brakes and trailer lights.
There is a white plug with many wires going into it just under the steering wheel and the other plug to the left of it for the computer input but thats all I can find.
I have a 2002 4.7 standard cab 2 wd 1500 (Canadian)
Any help please.

You're in the wrong subforum for this advice, but the plug you are looking for is further back than that. It is tucked up right against the kick panel, very very close to the fire wall. It is blue, and has four 12-14 gauge wires running out of it. You have to lay in the floor, next to the pedals, and look up near/behind the praking brake lever. You should see it hiding in that area. It might be taped in place, so be aware of that.
