Sport Rim TPMS Question
I plan on changing my stock 20" rims/tires during the winter months with a set of 17" aluminum rims/studded tires from an 07 Ram w/o the TPMS. Is this possible? Will it hurt anything on my truck i.e. the TPMS system? Will it throw any codes?

your tpms light will be on because there is no signal from the sensors. will not effect anything else, you will be completly fine. wont hurt anything.

I bought custom tires and wheels for summer driving, and had them put the TPMS in them, ran about 40.00 bucks a wheels extra. Didn't want to put up with the EVIC nagging me all summer.

EVIC will beep at ya a bit but that's it.

When I got my rims changed out I had the tpms put in the new rims. Kal tire did it for 10 bucks a rim.

Take your tpms sensors out of your stock rims and have them all put in your spare tire. Just duck tape them in. As long as your spare has air in it your EVIC won't go off.
