Towing Question

I have an '03 Ram 1500 QC 5.7 with the off-road package. I am looking at towing my '02 Jeep Wrangler on a trailer next month and wanted to know if my truck is capable of doing this. I have been so busy I haven't been able to check my towing capacities of the truck. I just thought I'd post up to see if anyone knew from experience. Thank you.

I would think you should be ok . I know my Off-Road came with 4.10 gears from the factory . How about yours ? That would be a plus . As far as pulling the weight , I would think your fine .

Oh easily. should be no problem

yup agree..towing shouldn't be an issue...

Non issue! even with 3.55's you'll be fine. Any other gearing (3.92/4.10) is just better.

Just get the weight of your load and your trailer. Check the sticker on your door jamb or look in the owner's manual.

You should be good, though.

Thanks for all the info guys!!! I did plan on getting the weight of both before towing but I hadn't had a chance to look yet. Thanks again!
