Exhaust for a 06 single cab 8ft bed?
Ok I really like the magnaflow exhaust sound and performance but I cant find one for my truck!
Does anyone know if a quad cab short bed one would work on my truck?
BTW my truck has the 4.7l not the hemi.
All i seem to find is quad cab short bed hemi configurations but NOTHING for the single cab 4.7l long box!
I already have a tuner. Next im looking at doing a set of rims and tires/level the front out. Then comes a tuner and exhaust. Then I think im done for awhile lol.
Ill prolly go with the superchips tuner but cant find a nice exhaust for my truck. I personally dont like flowmaster...they sound good but thats it! Back when I had my firebird; the club I belonged to had some very smart technical people in it. They flow tested a bunch of mufflers and actually the flowmaster is not the master of flow at all lol. If im not mistaken the flowmaster performed the worst but was the loudest. We all decided that magnaflow was one of the top performers and so was borla. Either way enough talk.
Someone help me find an exhaust...btw im going to take it to my friends over at cole-muffler to get installed. Im good friends with the manager and he always takes real good care of me.
It should fit. The wheel base is the same, you just have a bed at the muffler location and not the cab. Talk with your buddy at the shop. Maybe, instead of doing a whole cat back, you just replace the muffler.
The install shop might have to do a small mod to the tailpipes but I doubt they will.
Thats what I was thinking too. I kinda wanted the whole cat-back but for less than the price I can get the same sound out of a muffler and resonator delete. They can fab it all up for me. Ill have to call him tomorrow while im at work. Or maybe stop by in the work truck while im out doing deliveries/sales and talk to him.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Anyone have sound clips of a 4.7l with a magnaflow exhaust?
