Uconnect issue
Hello everyone! Short time lurker, first time poster here.

I just joined the Ram club, buying a 2010 Laramie about a month ago. But I'm having an issue with the Uconnect system and it's going to be about 2 weeks before the dealership can look at it, so I figured I'd ask if it's a common problem.

When starting my truck, the screen display always opens showing "Uconnect" for a few seconds, then the radio starts. That's normal. But probably close to 2 dozen times, the "Uconnect" on the screen doesn't go away. It stays on for probably around 2-3 minutes, then powers itself off for about 30 seconds, then shows "Uconnect" again and the radio starts up. And it's happening a lot more frequently in the last while.

Like I said, I'm getting it looked at by the dealership. I'm just wondering if this has been seen before?

Thanks, Jamie

It seemed mine did that when hunting for a phone, my phone and my wife's were hooked to it...then i took hers out and haven't had an issue since...IDK

sounds like the radio freezes and then restarts?

I was having the same problem but since the firmware in my phone was updated, I have not had that problem. So, when was the last time the phone was updated?

I have an iPhone with the latest update. The screen will still freeze even if I do a remote start for the truck with Bluetooth off on my phone. The phone is far enough away not to connect to the truck and the screen will still freeze.

I appreciate all the suggestions guys

The RBZ has had some known issues and there is a RRT out that may apply to yours. Take it to the dealer and have them check RRT 10-030.
