alright i talked to my manager at work (has an 07 cummins he bought as a roll over with 20,000 miles and fixed it all himself. super hot truck) anywayss lol... he told me that running a hypertech programmer gives better power plus MPG.... but im not sure if they even made programming for the 2002's. have to check on that before i give suggestions haha

I run one one mine. I have a 2002 ram 1500 4.7 With the cold air intake, exhaust and the programmer I get like 12-14 in the city and like 17-21 on the highway plus or minus cause I live in the valley. The programmer is one of the best things I ever bought.

I ran a s/c flash paq on my last truck a 02 4.7 dak and was very happy with it had that a thrush muffler and a air raid cai with those mods I knocked down my 0-60 almost a full quarter second and pulled better mpgs when not in 91 performance

Thats awesome. I have 6" lift and 35's on my truck so I think I am sold on investing in this. Thanks everybody.

Don't look into hypertech. A member here (Toms blue ram 1500) has one and says it's a waste of money. Most of the time, you can't go wrong with superchips.

cool thanks for updating me on the hypertech along with the superchips. glad brandon started this thread :smiley_thumbs_up:
