What are you looking to do? Increase power? MPG?

chithead 08-18-2010 10:38 PM

I got just the thing... Bully Dog GT Gas Tuner for the 2008-2009 4.7

lpmandy 08-18-2010 11:27 PM

Well.. at the moment Im not sure.. But MPG would be a start!

Ok what the crap is a Bully Dog GT Gas Tuner? does that help with MPG?

lpmandy 08-18-2010 11:28 PM

Ok Im looking that thing up now and its pretty interesting...

chithead 08-18-2010 11:28 PM

It can...

But it's more fun to press the pedal down with the tuner on there.

It's a programmer for your truck. Adding a programmer, intake, and free-flowing exhaust will help your engine breathe easier, resulting in more power & MPG. However, with all that extra power, it's hard to keep your foot off the gas!

lpmandy 08-18-2010 11:37 PM

HAHA Well I already have that problem! :wiggle2: Dang I can change the intake and everything?! LORD! SOOO much fun stuffs to learn and do!!

Ok... where should I start first?!? Engine mods or look mods???

lpmandy 08-18-2010 11:38 PM

I put straight pipes on the truck.. would that be my free-flowing exhaust?

City Slicker 08-18-2010 11:42 PM

It all depends on how much you're looking to spend. I'm not even close to being done modding, but I started with "looks" then moved to "engine" mods, now I'm back to "looks" mods. It's a lot of fun, it's very addicting though!
