replacing motor

how much work is involved with this?

RamTech 08-27-2010 08:32 PM

For a long block assembly, you're looking at about 15 hours of labor time.

Is the engine new/rebuilt? If so, that's an outstanding deal. Especially with the 3 year warranty.

2900 is about right that is what i have seen being charged a friend of mine just paid 2600 for his install and motor and got the same deal your getting

RamTech 08-28-2010 08:06 PM

If that's for a long block, then you're looking at a pretty fair price.

I just had to buy an engine too. I paid around the same.I ended up paying about $200 for all the new gasket and fluids too I found a company that re-engineered the heads to allow for better oil circulation. I wish you all the luck.

I figure everybody on here has helped me so much, I will do what I can to help ya'll too. And pictures help ALOT!! The company I am getting mine from is called Barnett Engines. I did some research and they have a pretty good reputation.
