How to lower a 2009 ram 1500

I am wanting to drop the truck 2-4 inches cause it stupid too high and a bummer to get in and out. What have others done to lower the truck?? Cut the springs or get a kit???

Ive been waiting for ground force, they have shipped me two wrong sets of parts and its getting old at this point.!!!!

Any assistance would be appreciated, thanks Waldig

That's weird, I was gonna recommend the GroundForce kit. All you need to do is get lowering springs for the front, and you can do a rear flip if you want to bring it lower down in the rear.

His truck does not have leaf springs on the back for a flip kit.. he just needs coil springs and a track bar relocator for the back...

A flip kit works with leaf spring rear suspensions and relocates the axle above the leaf springs rather than below it. It drops the rear of the truck without replacing the springs or seriously affecting the suspension performance.
