CAT/Y-Pipe inlet size

I basicly asked this same question at the 4.7 exhaust forum but I think the specs are the same for the 4.7 as 5.7 in this respect (correct me if I'm wrong) so I'm repeating here to get more exposure.

What is the size of the stock pipe before the Y-pipe. I ask cause I want to order a performance y-pipe and need to know the size. Obviously this should be the same size and the stock CAT inlet and outlet size.

Anyone know the answer to this one?

That is what I thought. I would measure but I don't have a caliper. I suppose I could wrap a string and do the math but I thought someone might just know.

Can anyone verify?
