Mufflex 18" Muffler Installed

So my Mufflex 18 came in today and I decided to install it. I must say it, was one of the easiest mods I have done. The whole process took me just under an hour. I didn't even move the truck from the garage. My truck is lifted, so there was plenty of room for me to just crawl under and get to work. My advice: spray all of the rubber hangers and the joints where the clamps are with WD-40 and left sit for 5 minutes. The old stuff slid off like butter. Installation was a snap. Just be sure to REALLY snug up the clamps. I can post a picture if need be but, I figure there are some very good videos w/ sound on the net already. I haven't driven it yet, just started it and reved it. I'm nearly 40 and appreciate peace but, I will say that I think its a tad on the quiet side. The 14" may be the way to go. After I spend some time at highway speeds, I'll post again with my comments on drone.

Great job, thanks for posting this. I'd be interested in your opinion after you have run it for awhile.

Did the dual outs line up & go into the stock tail pipes with no problem? I measured my stock dual outs & they are 2 1/4" O.D.

Yes, the mufflex kits bolt right up mark. Pipe sizes are right.
