I have a 07 ram 3500 4x4 with 60,000 miles my front universal at the steer nuckel is bad whats the best way to replace this.

That's a cv joint. You have to pull the half shaft completely out and then you can change either the whole thing or just the joint.

I took off the big nut with the cotter key the hub is stuck

An 07 with 60K......is there still some powertrain warranty left? If so, that would likely be the easiest way. :smileup:

The 3500 axle isn't a CV joint, it's a regular u-joint. Did you remove the 4 bolts holding in the hub/bearing assembly first? You may need a puller to remove it once you get the bolts out.
