The most Displacement out of a 360 Block?

I know you can easily Stroke it out to a 408 but I was reading that a 340 block can be made out to a 440 from Indy Cylinder. What's the most displacement I can get out of her? Wanting a LS7 Killer without going BB.

I forgot the article I was reading but a 360 can be made into a four twenty something.... I think they do it with a different stroke. You could go low compression 408 with a supercharger. You'll be plenty fast.

Remind me to let you know what kind of numbers I put out in a month, when my YSi setup is done. I'm running a 410ci at 8.8 compression and plan on running about 14lbs of boost out of a YSi with a custom intercooler setup.

I'd go with a 408 with forced induction if you are starting with the 360 Magnum.

a custoum twin turbo set up would be cool too

It's going to take a lot to make an ls7 killer, that's for sure, especially if it's still in the Z06 chassis. But it's possible. 408 would do awesome, still though it's smaller than the ls7. Forced indiuction would change that. Gotta find a way to get it all to the ground though...

i was thinking the same thing. have a high goal being that its a ls7.

but putting the power to the ground is the deal breaker.

I don't see too much problem with the LS7 in the quarter...as said, as long as you can hook up with a supercharged 408....or even a nicely built n/a 408.

Now...top end, not in a truck, no. Theres where weight and aerodynamic drag plays a huge part.
