Chrome chipping

Anyone else had problems with the chrome front bumper chipping. I was washing my truck today and noticed the chrome on the bumper is chipping. Its not rock chips cause there's no chips in the near by paint, or any where else for that matter.

Your not the first one to mention this . Take it back to the dealer . They must of had some bad chroming .

If there aren't chips elsewhere, I suspect what you have is bubbling and flaking chrome. I'd be going to the dealer just as Tom suggested.

Another reason to get sport bumpers :)

i didnt notice any bubbling. they look like small rock chips. Im kinda pissed about it. The truck has 2400 miles on it. Ive kept this thing cleaner than the day i bought it. Ive never been this picky about a vehicle before, but i want what i paid for. The day after I got it the rear pass. tire press. warning came on. I took it to the dealer to get the code wiped. My salesman gave me a hard time. He said " you work on airplanes and cant put air in your tires?" I told him yes, but its under warranty and you can do it for me.

LOL...well, it's defective either way so give him a hard time back.

I hate the tire pressure monitoring system:

1. It is way too sensitive and comes on when there is plenty of air in the tires.
2. It should be customer adjustable within a reasonable range.
