Cat Delete
 
I have a 2006 dodge ram 1500 with 5.7..right now I have factory headers and cats with flowmaster 40 muffler. One of my cats is rotten and I want to get the cats cutout and do a delete..What is the best parts and way to do it? Any answers welcome> Thankyou

Are you sure it's rotted out ? Their made out of stainless steel . With the truck having all the O2 sensors it has , to delete the cats is going to be tough . Do you have to put your truck through periodic emission testing ?

Its not rotted out there must be a broken baffle or whatever is inside...I have to pass an emission test once a year but I am not to worried about that I know someone. What would I need to do this?

delete the cats you just need to cut them out and replace with straight pipe. to avoid the computer throwing a code you use spark plug non foulers.
