A CAI using 3.5" polished tubing for $40.00

I designed and tested a CAI for the 4.7 and the design may be used on other engines including the Hemi if you wanna make you own. It is posted in the 4.7 Mod section and has a write up and a link for photos to follow the assembly - about 1 hour. Enjoy, Woody:smileup:

Nice, reps for that, I have been trying to get mine made up with similar ideas in mind, but I was wondering why you didnt jus take the tube all the way the factory air box instead of the rubber that isnt smooth?

Tube

Rubber was there and no cost. Going the whole way would limit the flex connection and require angles that could not be made easily with street available piping. I got rid of the resonator that I have pulled off all my cars and trucks, they are restrictive and ugly and worst in the way of service. Woody:sad:

I think it would take a bit more modification for us, the throttle body is positioned at the very front of the intake on the 09 and up Hemis. The application could still be applied though, just with a bit more "tweaking".

Are you talking about an intake resonator or the exhaust? I didn't see one on the intake on my 09.
