Question for DS experts

Just received my DS for my truck today and before I install it I was curious to know what that little disc is for that came in the package? Do I need to do something with that before I install it in my truck? Secondly, is the PC interface kit used just for custom tuning through a computer? Thanks for any help!!

I just went to the DS web site and joined that forum as well.
Also check out our section for the DS as well lot's of info there.

The disk is the DS downloader/interface program. It's not just for custom tunes, you need to get the latest CROM and update from DS, even though it's brand new, they don't have the latest tune/update on them, kind of a let down i know. If you try to load it right away without the update, the tuner will probably tell you need to update and then won't do anything.

Thanks for the info Kurtis! I will update the programmer, get it installed, and be sure to follow with a review.
