No Defrost Now

Well no defrost now . Recycle or Fresh air door moves but when you change to defrost air still comes out of vents not to windshield .

Broken HVAC defrost door or actuator..unfortunately it is most likely the door, which requires disassembly of the dash.

I'm having mine into the dealership on friday due to not switching to the lower vents, I'll let you know what they come up with. Randy's theory was lower blend door, so we'll see.

No, the defrost door is more toward the center of the dash.

to give you some idea about your heater/air problems, look at this site, then click dodge ram & you will be able to view 3 videos, each describing how to trouble shoot & repair your own vehicle

you can get defrost to work, but you will have no heat at the floor. You can look from the drivers side up through the vent and you will see that the door is stuck in the up position. You should be able to stick a long screwdriver or coat hanger up in there and usually just poke it until it falls into the down position. It worked on my 2003..I eventually fixed mine by replacing the doors by removing the dash. Took about 8 hours total.
