Heater problem

I had the same problem with my 98 ram .It was purchased used this summer and I had only used the a/c until two days ago ,It ran fine for awhile then would just stop, then once it cooled off it would run just fine again . I took it out and found someone had spilled soda or something down the vents and it drained right to the fan motor housing. I cleaned it out and tried it again to find out the motor was going bad. Hope this helps and good luck getting it fixed.

Myabe a poor connection with the motor speed resistor. Its located underneath the dash, next to the blower motor housing.
