Easiest way to remove pin stripes?
What is the easiest way to remove pin stripes. Mine are definitely faded to the point where they need to be changed.

Any pointers?

Try a little 3M adhesive remover to break down tape adhesive (I assume this is tape, right?) then pull lightly to remove, then go back over the left over with a bit more adhesive remover. You might need to use an eraser wheel for the tougher bits.

Gonna do some new ones?

Yes they are tape. As far as pulling and peeling them all off at once well thats a different story. I'm going to be there for awhile. I will give it a try of what you recommended.

And i'm going to add more pin stripes. No idea what color yet though. I might also go them painted on instead of the tape, that way I do not run into this problem again.

Yeah...painting will def be a better way to go.

There is also an eraser wheel that goes on your drill. Check your auto parts store.

you can also use a heat gun or a hair dryer at a low setting, just don't stand on a wet surface, no reason to play with electricity

Get an extension cord, hair dyer, heat it up and just pick at it with your nails. Once it is off, use some wax or compound to clean up the area.

I had this problem as well with my body spears. I baked the truck in the sun for awhile then used a hair dryer then once I got some part up, I used some fishing line and slowly slid it underneath and began to slowly moving the fishing line peeling the spears away.
Then I just used bug/tar remover to remove the excess 3m tape that was left over.
I would wait for a nice sunny day to do this so at least the sun might help a bit even if it's a bit cold out.

I'm surprised no one suggested a grinder! Quickest and easiest way. Hair dryer and goo-be-gone is slower but safer. I used dental floss to debadge my car.

i was using a 1400 psi power washer and accidentally took part of my pin stripes off. Use a turbo head and whoooosh it right off!
