What is the 0-60 on a stock 03' Quad?

Anybody know? I made three runs with my Flashpaq the other day. 8.22 was the best, was wondering what the stock 0-60 time was on a new 2003.

i have a 03 ram with the flashpaq tuner as well. dont no wut the 0-60 times are cause i've never run mine but with the tuner u have the option of setting the tune back to stock and using the tuner the same way u can measure the stock 0-60 times. just by settin it back to stock and runnin it again. hope this helps. if u dont mind could u repost the stock times with the tuner times. im intrested to no wut difference it made

Thats true, I was wondering however how much difference my Magnaflow system and K&N intake made also.

My best 0-60 with my currrent mods is 8.20

Magnaflow dual cat back
K&N FIPK
Superchips Flashpaq.

Wow 8.20 is a lot better than. Thought it'd run w/ the qc my 4.7 qc 3.92 Dakota had about the same 0-60 w/ intake muffler and programmer I bet it was the 4 speed that killed my time I'm very interested to see what some stock times are

Just finished swapping the OEM cooling fan and clutch for a Flex a lite and took a couple runs. I'm now down to 7.96! The fan dropped the 0-60 speed by an average of 0.2 seconds, pretty good for one small mod I think.

Interesting,do you have a part number for the new fan? Also, with the Flashpaq what are your tune options?Like 91 or 93 octane?

Flex-a-lite model #183 is the Dodge 03-08 Ram specific. The website shows for "hemi" application, but the install manual states 4.7 also. The only issue I had on the 4.7 was with the radiator reservoir mounting, you can either purchase the reservoir from a hemi or retain the 4.7 OEM fan shroud, either option works fine.

Here's a link: http://www.flex-a-lite.com/auto/html/dodge-ram.html

Some late model Dakota 4.7's came from the factory with electric fans, I bet those could be made to work as well.

According to InsideLine's testing in early 2004:

0-60 8.3
1/4 16.3

Note: they were using a loaded SLT QC, but also with the very heavy OEM 20" wheels. 17's are significantly lighter. They also don't specify which rear end they used, just that it was a 5-speed AT. One of their comments was while they liked the AT shifting overall, it seemed subjectively slow to shift under WOT between gears, taking a little longer than the other trucks they were testing (3 of which were 4-speed AT's).

Thanks.

I put on a Fastman TB and took a few runs today, got it down to 7.80. Another 2/10s shaved off by the throttle body.
