Side Steps, who has had success with what?

My 5'3" wife is pregant again and it is a struggle for her to get in truck. I have got the green light to buy a set of steps. I am looking for a set of wheel tot wheel bars so I can get into the bed. Any brands to stay away from and brands to steer towards?

I had GoRhino Dominator II's and loved them!

Get em in stainless steel. Lifetime warranty. Also, SS brackets are a plus.

Go Rhino, RBP step type and there are some Westin oval type wheel to wheel bars available.

Steer clear of Aries. They are cheaply made and they flex a lot when you put your weight on them.

i was in the same situation as you my friend. i bought these iron cross side steps. i liked them for the lower step that protrudes out, an added bonus is the steps r on tracks so i can slide them to other positions or i can remove them and the big tube that covers the track can stay on.

I have the Mopar black aluminum bars. My wife is 5' 0" and can climb in with no problem.

I have the stock Mopar chrome step bars. They match the bumpers and complete the Big Horn package. MOST important, they work and are safe even when wet. My 5'4" wife has had a stroke and they work well, even with her disability.

How well do the chrome plated bars hold up with salt/snow?

I have them now. have been on the truck for the past 6 months and are doing great. I like how they look. Don't know if the wife would like that small of a step however, she may prefer something like regular tubular ones.
