REAL MEN don't run MDS
Oh boy here comes the fireworks for sure!.....Real men do not run MDS on a HEMI........Hemi's were meant for one thing, to win races with there brute power, not to cruise down the highway getting 50mpg. Turning off the worthless MDS on my 2007 Ram Quad Hemi was "THE BEST" thing I could have ever done for my truck. If I had been seeking mileage I would have bought a MAZDA, not to mention the laughs that go with them as your put putting down the street. MDS Sux!.....Hemi's Rule!!!!!!!

I Just press the tow haul button if I want to disable the MDS and put it into haul ass mode. My only thing is... it's not like mds takes 5 minutes to turn disengage while you are driving. Push the peddle and away you go. I have driven with it on and off, a nice option with my DSP tuner. I have it on right now and it no way hinders my hauling ass wherever I go! My throttle is very responsive so romping on it is not a problem. :158:

Hmmm , MDS ? Funny my 6.1 doesn't have that option . DAMN -------------Good thing too .

I don't have the hemi, but if I did.... I would have bought 8 cylinders for a reason.

Just how does the MDS interfere with the Hemi performing when the giggle pedal is pressed to the floor?

This is a serious question.

Ramher07 12-08-2010 04:12 AM

Root Beer, it doesn't. MDS is the best technology in vehicle production today. With gas prices going up as we speak, it's a great way to keep my HEMI a daily driver. (and oh how I love driving it!)
