Anyone with an SRT-10 want to help me?

I'm looking for an SRT-10 owner to help with my research. Trying to find out more regarding the suspension components specifically, maybe a few other little details. Anyone out there able to assist in this?

I can probably come up with assorted part numbers if need be.

That's a start! I'm really looking at the front springs, and maybe some of the sway bar components... trying to get some measurements and specs though.

Any particular year? We get a few SRT's in here from time to time and I can keep an eye out.

Preferably the 2006, I hear they changed the spring rate on those to allow for better handling and upgrade the sway bars.

What we need to begin with is the 3 letter code for each spring i.e. we need an SRT build sheet. If someone is willing to give up the VIN from their standard cab SRT, I can pull a sheet and get the codes. Keep in mind your truck would ride differently than an SRT because of the weight and engine placement differences of the 8.3.

I wonder if it would even lower mine at all...

RamTech 12-13-2010 03:30 PM

Without knowing the specs (such as spring rate and height) for both springs and the sprung weight over the front wheels, I don't think there's anyway to say unless someone else has tried it already. Worst case scenerio, it could even raise the front end.
