Removing "sticker" between windows on quad-cab
On my quad cab Ram, there is a black "sticker"-like piece between the driver's window and quad-cab door window (same situation on passenger side). As seen below:

I'm going to be getting new doors on my truck (current ones are rusting on bottoms). My question is.. can these "stickers" be removed? And then fill in the spacing between the windows with body paint? I'm not big on the "one long window" look and would prefer a clear separation point in between the windows with the silver body paint. Is this possible? I googled around images for silver Rams of this generation but couldn't find any where this had been done.

I prefer the look of the newer Dodge's clearly separate windows:

If I'm not mistaken there was a thread here recently about removing that "sticker" on the b-pillar. Lemme see if I can find it.....

seems to me sense you are replacing the doors, what about finding a set off a RC they don't have the black on them and you should be able to find them in the same color just swap the doors.

if its just a sticker, its probably body colour paint under it...

Does anyone have any pictures (or links to pictures) of a 2nd gen silver Ram with that "b-pillar" sticker removed?

I'd just like to get an idea what it'd look like before I make the plunge!
