The time has come
for a desision to be made and I am looking for inputs. Anything that you got will assist in my decision. So a couple months ago I bought a beutiful used 2002 dodge ram with a 4.7. I figured that I could squeze enough power out of it to keep me happy, I was wrong. I have done the big 3......CAI, exhaust, tuner, just not good enough. I adverage between 13 and 16 MPG with the power of a 4 cylinder honda, thats probly exagerating just a bit. So my decision is pretty simple. Stick with what I got or get this.....

Lets help me make up my mind shall we?

10,023 total miles???? Go for the SRT man!

I'm wondering what the question really is? At $26000, that's a steal, and the low mileage is just another bonus!

Dude you live in Hawaii!! Nice weather all the time!!! BUY IT!!!!

I believe that i would jump on that quickly, low miles, beautiful Ram, price is good for stateside prices, fantastic for Honolulu's high prices

I would trade it for the SRT if you want more power. Not a whole lot of places to open her up there but you will have a great truck. I lived there for three years and the best place for any play time was going towards the rifle range just off H1.

I am really thinking about it but I need to talk the better half into it first. Its kind of tuff because I have only had my current truck for 2 months or so and there is a 19K difference between the two. We will see, going to go and check it out latter today.

That price is FULL BLOWN RETAIL with a $6000 mileage add. You'd be taking a big risk buying that truck at that price. First of all, MOST banks will lend you 120% of KBB WHOLESALE, which on this truck is about $20K, so be prepared to have a good chunk of change as a down payment. Second, and more importantly, if for ANY REASON, you need to sell or trade that truck in (say $5 gallon gas, or $7 per gallon being in the Aloha State), be ready for a $17 - $18K trade in value. Dealerships and wholesale buyers will NEVER give you an extra penny for the mileage add.

With that said, it's a great looking truck, so the decision is yours to make. Good Luck!

PS: Sorry to be the voice of reality. I'm a car broker by profession, and I can see a disaster in the making.
