Getting my truck breathing right

Looking to do an intake and exhaust without selling off body parts to pay for it.

Found this intake on ebay - Should I do something like this or go down to my autoparts store and make my own?

As for the exhaust i'm thinking about going magnaflow 18" - I want to do a dual outlet but my truck came stock with the single exhaust. This means I dont have the slots in my rear bumper for the exhaust pipes . So should I just keep it simple for myself and order a One in One out muffler or get the dual and have a shop bend some pipe to work with my stock bumper?

Let me know what you guys think!

I am hoping someone can chime in on this, but if the airbox is the same as the 5.7L, I would recommend just a drop in and save your money. The box in the hemi is a pretty good intake system to begin with and pulls in from the fender wall. Like I said though, I am not sure about the 4.7.

As far as the exhaust, are you going for looks?

If you're looking at that system, you'd be better off heading down to the hardware store, picking upo some 3" PVC pipe and making your own. Don't use a corrugated pipe to make bends easier, it kills the flow.

If you want dual rears, I'd say go for it, you could always do angled tips out the side instead of stright back.

going for sound and the extra hp, but I do like the look of the dual exhaust with the ports in the bumper. Not having the bumper though I'll probably do like CdnoilRAM said and angle the tips down under the bumper I have now.
