catch can for 07 5.7
What are the options for putting a catch can on my 07 Ram QC 5.7. I see they have the PCV as a single internal piece. Thoughts I had were to cut off the bottom end right after the latch pieces and gut it, drill it out and run a hose through it to a catch can. Down side I see on that is the size of the tube would be pretty small but the stock isn't very big. Second thought I had was to cap it off and put a proper pcv into the valve cover and run that through a catch can.

Unless there is an already good solution out there that I'm not seeing.

sadly, there is no solution for the internal PCV system, you just have to accept that you'll have a higher carbon content in your chamber.

Yea you cannot put a catch can on your 07. I wanted to do that same with my truck but sadly we cannot

Never say never. I'm planning on just disabling the factory one and drilling and installing an older valve cover style and then to the catch can. Hoping to get this done in the next few days if I can find time.

If you DO get this figured out, let us know, 'cuz I would LOVE to have a catch can on mine.

It would be great to have a can on my 07 to keep junk out of the engine. Keep us posted if you discover a way and make sure to do a step by step instruction and some cool pics.

The 3rd gen PCV system is internal and is not accessible like the 4th gen PCV system is.
