Maintenance Help from experienced owners?
I am obtaining a 2004 Dodge Ram SLT Quad Cab HemiSport with a 5.7L and 4x4.

It has 115,000 miles. I have no idea what maintenance the guy has kept up on it. But what should I check out, replace? What is the typical 100,000 mile maintenance? Also, he uses regular unleaded fuel, is that a bad thing? (As opposed to premium.)

I am just concerned and I need this truck to keep on keeping on.

Regular unleaded is just fine for it .

If i were you, i would take the truck after you purchase it to a Dodge dealership at least 1 time & let them suggest what needs to be done.
After that do what you want to do as to services. If you decide to do your own servicing, then you will know what Dodge suggested & decide on your own what to do

You may be fortunate & the previous owner always had the service done by the dealership & you would have an up to date service record

Here's my list that I'd do or have done if I didn't have the ability.

1. Replace plugs
2. Replace air filter
3. Replace serpentine belt
4. Flush entire cooling system and fill
5. Drain, replace filters, and flush trans
6. Replace all oils (engine (filter too), differential(s))
7. Replace brake fluid and bleed the system
8. Replace power-steering fluid
9. Inspect brakes and replace as needed. Turn rotors/drums if pads or shoes are replaced.

10. Lube anything with a zert fitting.

Get it up on a lift before you start anything and thoroughly inspect it for leaks or rot. Fix both.

What could be the works case scenario about this truck? I know he keep up with things like brakes and oil changes.

The worst I can think of would be spark plugs, belts and air filter.

I know a old farmer with a '96 that has only done brakes and oil nothing else and that truck still runs smooth after 300+ miles
