Leather Seat Ripping

So today i noticed my drivers seat had a tear in it, at first it looked like it had been cut with something but on closer inspection it actually looks like the leather is being pulled apart. Its seems like there are a few more spots, where the tiny holes are that are cracking. Anyone else having this problem? The area where this is happening doesn't even seem like leather, more like vinyl.

Seat covers are a known issue. Let the dealer fix it under warranty.

even though i want leather, im glad i aint got the oem dodge leather. i want aftermarket leather seat covers.

Yeah, the seats are leather trimmed! Not full leather, the centers are vinyl, I had to replace a seat cover in my charger R/T and found this out, he looked at my RAM to and said yep them too...sux, cause you think your getting leather seats, chrome wheels, etc etc then find that you have vinyl seats and chrome clad wheels....hope the pistons aren't ceramic or something.

I've got the same black ' leather ' seats , with the perf holes for the ass-conditioning.

Anybody recommend a product to apply to keep the seats in good shape?

sorry to hear about your issues, hopefully the dealer with fix you up

I use the McGuires leather cleaner/ conditioner. I use it on everything that I've got that's leather automotive and otherwise... works great
