Tallest building!

In this first video, the quality isn't too awesome but these guys are hands down the craziest ones, especially the guy that "Fakes" to almost fall off. SCREW THAT!

This second video is good quality. Ignore the guy talking, just look at the view!

I love heights. Being up that high in the wind is just awesome. It is good to see the guys in the 2nd one tied off though, that's the safety officer in me though.

Do they offer airline (insert word here) bags? I am not one for heights. I leave that to those naturally equal ^^^^ in size.

Not a fan of heights? What?!?!? So you weren't a big fan of being up on the ladder?

iRESQu 01-12-2011 03:09 PM

The ladder? I just made it a habit to scream "Geronimo" when falling out of the Cummins! It makes the "losing your stomach" feeling easier to handle.

That's pretty cool! I don't mind heights, but don't think I could do that.

lol very cool video..

The Sears/Willis tower has a glass floor now too..for the people who might want to feel safer....

Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, the architecture firm that designed the tower, also designed The Ledge, whose four 1-1/2-inch-thick glass boxes are being placed on the building's west side, according to the fact sheet. The retractable boxes will extend 4.3 feet out from the side of the building at 1,353 feet above street level, according to the fact sheet.

Each of the four Ledge boxes is comprised of three layers of half-inch-thick glass. They are designed to hold about five tons, much more weight than they are expected to have to carry when they have a full group of visitors, and also higher than the two tons required by city code, according to the spokeswoman.

That is so cool!!!! I want to go there!

Not sure I'd strap myself off on the tower but the glass ledge is cool.

There is one over the Grand Canyon now. I saw a vid of people walking out on it...stopping, then crawling back away from it. Others enjoyed the heck out of it. Then there are the cautious ones who keep to the rail edge with a death grip on the bannister...LOL
